Biden Budget: Highlights and Lowlights

On the Friday afternoon before Memorial Day weekend, the White House released President Biden’s Budget for Fiscal Year 2022, (the President’s spending proposals). The same day, Treasury detailed the administration’s General Explanations of the Administration’s Revenue Proposals, more commonly known as the “Green Book” (the President’s taxing proposals). The budget and Green Book derive from Biden’s American Jobs Plan (for infrastructure) and American Families Plan (for social and family spending).
