Ceres’s 2022 Climate Risk Scorecard for Financial Regulatory Agencies Finds Significant Improvement since 2021

Ceres, a non-profit organization focused on sustainability and economic transformation, recently released its 2022 Climate Risk Scorecard, which “rates the actions federal agencies [are] taking within their existing authority to address the systemic impacts of climate-related financial risk.” According to Ceres, federal financial regulators have made “tremendous progress” over the past year. Specifically, nine regulatory agencies have together implemented 230 public actions to help address climate-related financial risk:
