CREFC Policy & Advocacy Webinar Series: COVID-19 Disruption Part 1: DC Action Highlights

4/9/2020  ·  by CRE Finance Council  ·  CREFC Webinars  ·  Research and Background Documents

Join CREFC’s Government Relations team in our inaugural webinar to get up to speed on everything that has been happening in DC that affects CRE finance. Our team will walk through the federal COVID-19 policy responses, programs, and plans that are rolling out at unprecedented speed. The panel will also discuss CREFC’s advocacy activities and the issues important to our members, including:

  • Overview of the CARES Act provisions;
  • Regulatory relief to-date;
  • Overview of Federal Reserve lending and purchasing facilities;
  • Government’s role in forbearance; and
  • Update on CREFC’s advocacy.

This will be the first in a series of CREFC Government Relations webinars that will update members on the ever-changing policy landscape and drill down on specific CRE finance regulatory and legislative issues. We welcome any suggestions for future webinars, and encourage all members to reach out directly to the CREFC GR team with any questions or issues.
