CREFC Submits Response to SEC’s Climate Disclosure RFI

On June 11, CREFC submitted a comment letter in response to the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC’s) climate disclosure Request for Input (RFI). Click here to read CREFC’s response. As reported in a previous CREFC Policy and Capital Markets Briefing, in March 2021 then Acting SEC Chair Allison Lee said that the demand for ESG disclosure "is not being met by the current voluntary framework" and requested public input on climate disclosure.
